Fan stays on 2.6
« on: Today at 06:08:27 »

Hi

My 2.6, which I currently have off road just now but I run it fairly regularly round my yard. I noticed the other day that the single fan closest to the engine is always on. Realise this could be a sensor or something. It never used to do this only kick in when it got too hot as it should. Engine and cooling system always kept in GC, had new sensors and stat / oil cooler and flush a couple of years ago. I didn't notice if it was on from the get go only when I was poking about under the hood.

Thanks

Andy

from how i underdtand it there are two possibilries .
either the relay is stuck on or one of the the radiator control switches is faulty .
if the relay clicks as and when when the fan starts running then it would point to one of the radiator switches . someone may be able to be more presise but unplugging them one at a time should show which one
