yup and it was 541.50 down less than 18 minutes ago, so it is certainly slipping fast Bandit!

6.2% down now!  A record apparently according to the BBC!!

Well it looks like the final trades have gone through. -777.70. Or 6.98%

Apparently a one day points record, but the guy on the Beeb said there have been 20%+ drops before now.

There were 90 odd democrats voted against it, nearly half their presence in the house.

Yeah, starting to look like Pelosi was a big part of the problem.  

and 2/3 of republicans refused to back it  

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the Democrats have a majority in the House of Representatives??

This wouldn't be an anti Bush political game by any chance would it?? Maybe a last effort to discredit the lame duck president who promised that they would strike a deal??
