The inevitable collision doesn't hurt as much in a big car though. I certainly wouldn't have a valuable car in Italy. In fact, I'm really not sure what mode of transport I'd use. They are all pretty scary.

An Italian colleague of mine was home in Trieste for the weekend a few years back and called to say that he'd had a "minor car accident". He was in hospital for 2 weeks. I'd hate to see what a major car accident is like there.  :o

Having said that, outside the cities, there are some fantastic roads. Certainly gave the Omega a good workout there last year.

Phew AA, the subject line had me worried for a minute there, I thought you went my way...

I am a frequent visitor to Italy (as some might know), and sadly there very few Omegas there, though I did see a very interesting dual-exhaust TD the other day...
