i've heard scare stories, but after my well publicised issue in France 4yrs ago, I cannot say enough good things about Europe-Assist

They did everything quickly, efficiently, always willing to talk to people when my French was not good enough, and got us home quickly (almost same day, but we just missed ferry).  Always willing to deal directly with hotel payments and car hire.

My only complaint is car took a week to arrive back (they said within 10 days), and had a flat battery.
