i think it's worth fixing up, it's worth alot more to you than it is to other people and when you've done you'll have your car ;)

To start with, metal prices currently mean it is worth more than £50 scrap anyway, but more importantly it is worth fixing if you can still sell on if necessary and secure a higher return of cash. :y

I suspect though you just want to repair it and have it running for you again! ::) ::) :D :D ;)

Had plenty of that...

When I was rebuilding the GSi, countless people offering me bugger all for it, they didn't seem to understand that I was actually fixing it!

When doing the cam cover gaskets on the Elite, some twonk on a lowloader pulled up asked me if i wanted to sell it while his mate actually STARTED to sort out the straps on the back... Opertunist me thinks...

And again when I was changine the PAS pump on my brothers GLS, 2 people asked if it was for scrap and if they could have it...

I think it might have something to do that there is usually always a car being worked on outside...  Can't wait for the fun to begin when I get this engine swap underway  ;D

Still, I sold the old GLS of mine for twice what I paid for it within a week of sticking the forsale signs on it, and same with my nan's old Micra :)
