In the preseence of oil etc it turns into gorilla snot!

Not sure WHO built the 1st one, but....... even the MV had vast amouts of silicon arounf the rear main cap and sump bolt holes

Well in which case hes been buggering about......silicon!!! :( >:(.

Christ, if silicon would do the job we wouldn;t all be paying considerably more for fancy sealents in smaler quantities.

Hes breaked that himself!

Given that he would have to swap the sump to fit the lump in the vectra, I bet hes used some of the BandQ value silicon to seal it!

I would warn him that he needs the specialist Vx stuff for the next one! (the grey cartridge tube type as used for the oil cooler!)

This time it was rebuilt by an EX-Vx workshop supervisor, if that makes any difference ;D ;D ;D

I must admit tho, I saw it yesterday and ..It is a very tidy looking Install.
