Autobahnstormers thats quick, I thought best not with them being that I only drive a 4 potter

Shall have to see about migweb although I'm sure there are other sites that do it so shall just have to look around.

I guess for obvious reasons all clubs may be slower this time of year getting stuff out...

I was (still am) a member of ABS mainly for the card.  I never did get access to their forum, despite asking twice, but all the help I need can be found here.

Now that I have blagged a real TC card, I doubt I will be renewing my membership with ABS in the summer...

Got my MIGweb card after 4 weeks although my local stealership says that it is not a TC card, and would only give me trade discount with it (about 10%) Have filled out a propper TC application form from Vx and am waiting to see if i get one.

Is it really possible to just sign up to one of those websites, and get a trade card as simple as that?

I believe so, however you dont get a prices book or get access to TC website

yep, that's the main reason why I initially joined migweb - although my local dealer said that the membership number on the card wasn't recognised as their computer system been recently changed   But I get TC prices anyway  

... but TD is right about the lack of price book and TC website though ...

plus I found since joining that mig tend to have regular local meets too and are a good bunch of folks, plus at £15 a year they're cheaper than ABS

I never had my ABS card refused anywhere, despite it was ABS membership card, not TC card. Though it did have ABS TC member number on it...
