This instance was'nt down to me, but with running the engine after some work she got a bit low. I never run any car in the red, it's no good for them.
Gives the fuel filter something to do ;D

I can't see it making much difference these days. When fuel tanks were all steel & rusted, I'd agree, but as they tend to be plastic - like Omega's - there's less chance of ther being sh1te in the tank now.  :)

so far so good  :y

Did a 20,000 mile check a few weeks ago and it was all looking good, all the pipework has settled and there doesn't appear to be any chafing, the loom connectors are still good.....
MPG has settled between 22-24mpg on a run and about 15-18 round town, still have that 'jolt' at top end  >:(
engine doesn't seem to be any the worse for LPG, have noticed that the oil is nearly as clean coming out as it is when it goes in....saying that it is only in there about a month currently  ;D ;D

The Vaporisor will be the real item to watch, but if that failed i would be onto Jeremy's guy to see if he could supply, even if that cost a third of the original price of the kit and it had to be replace after say 50K i wouldn't be upset.
Going through fuel filters at a rapid rate of knots, one every 6000 miles as per recomendations

Interesting. I have noticed that mine occasionally bogs down at the top end as well. Just as it's changing up a gear, if you rev it right round to 6K, as yours did. Keep meaning to check and adjust the vapour pressure, and maybe try and get some more data logs from the software to try and see what's going on.

What strikes me about the oil is that it still smells like new oil when you drain it, not the rancid stuff you drain out when it's been on petrol.

I ran out last week, computer said 50 miles left but I parked on a slight uphill slope and tilting to the left,

Had to get help to push it on the level then it was ok,

Estate with rear full of tools.....Heavy to push up an incline

Put £30 a time in when down to a quarter, usually about once every two weeks. :)

I get the same problem, but most noticeable if booting it in 1st for a swift overtake/getaway!  ::) ::)

As for the Vaporiser... Teilo has told me that he's only ever had 1 vaporiser fail, and that was a manufacturing fault, not the actual Vaporiser! He's got people with them fitted who haven't even had to look at the Vap for well in excess of 100k miles!

Just got back from Dorchester this afternoon... Filled up on the way back at 55.9ppl and it took £36, after covering 335 miles, a mixture of 50 or so miles of town type driving, fast A's and Motorways!

Only another 2500 miles (and that's being over cautious with the paypack time) or so until the initial outlay has been completely recovered and starting to be in profit :y :y :y :y

Teilo reckons you should be able to go to at least 10-15k on the filter. In fact he said most people only ever change it when they start getting problems but I think I'll stick to every 6 months or so (about 12.5k)
