Following on from the thread on Americanisms......    

Anyone got some original examples of what is called round my place, 'Gaffer W&nkspeak'.

Examples currently include:

Blue Sky thinking
Think outside the box
Rub the brass and see what comes up
Keep in the footprint

etc......

Says loads but tells the world f*ck all, in my opinion.

(Guess who has just enjoyed a glass or three of a rather tasty Wolff Blass Merlot..   ;D)

Helicopter view, touch base, run it up the flagpole etc are all part of a game known as Wank Word Bingo - a much loved game by the spineless management who know eff all technically, and the brown nosers who are usually sucking up...
