new laptop

well i`ve got me new laptop being delivered 2mora i`ve chosen a toshiba with 1gb ram and 160gb hard drive so i might get rid of the desktop now as i dont really use it even on my days off....so how do i go about transfering all my firefox passwords and settings from the ibm laptop to the tosh??? :-[

best wishes wiv it mate, mine fatal errored 4 days out of warranty but was able to retrieve the hard disc files and do a restore. :-/

Simplest way is to install everything on the new laptop as normal and then copy the profile folder from the old machine over the new one...will be something like Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles
