ah at last a question i can answer!
1) door seal maybe faulty or door dropped allowing air in from the top.
2) the thermostat has gone faulty and is running the fridge permanently. (compressor will be red hot at the back of the fridge)
3) the insulation at the back or sides may have deformed and cracked  allowing warm air spots (you usually hear cracking or banging sounds).
4) you may have a system (gas) blockage in the evaporator which will leave a cold spot at the back -building up with ice/frost.
faults will be in that order of common breakdowns.

I just pulled the fridge out & the things red hot :o
I noticed a while ago that the temp had gone up so i increased the dial, then i had to increase again & again, so now it's maxed out. One buggered fridge  :(

Thank you Tone for your reply. A new fridge is in order  >:(

no just get the stat replaced around 15- 20 quid. fitting is straight forward, carefully locate it (attatched to the dial - and the file should be behind the evaporator and replace as found). :y
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!turn off power though !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
