Am looking for a way to hide speaker cables etc.

Someone has mentioned UPVC skirting board.  I was wondering if there was any available with a groove/void accross the back for such a purpose.

Has anyone used thing sort of thing or got experience with it.

Paint the b*ggers same colour as skirting board

Have seen UPVC skirting grooved on rear - can't at moment remember where.

We have pine skirting and all I did was milled a 12mm grove in to the back with my router, same with door surrounds. All the cables are hidden in the grove

Cheers everyone, have found a few sites myself since I started the thread.

Years ago I saw some facia that goes over the skirting board and has provion to fit sockets and stuff, so have been looking for that as well.

I have an account with CPC and 1st saw it for sale with them but just cant find it on thier website as I dont know what it's called. :-/

I could quite imagine you doing that,

Mind you I was thinking about doing an art deco paint finish in the rooms, white canvass, swivel chair in the middle, and arm my painball marjer with different coloured balls.  Mr Bean would be so proad of me.
