Drifting Omega
« on: 16 November 2008, 20:39:44 »

Drifting well at least that was what he was trying to do.

I decide to go down into plymouth docks last night (about 3 mile from me) and have a look around at all the boyracers to see what was happening.

I parked in the c/p and got talking to this other fella who also owned an Omega (2.0 GLS). After about half hour he wandered off to get his car (it was parked out of site) and then drove it into the c/p like a bat out of hell and started to try and drift around the various lamposts. After seeing him do this stunt and nearly crashing I was thinking that he was lucky when there was was this big bang and loads of smoke.

Result: Drifting - lampost = 1 Omega on its side and a badly damaged pride with an expensive repair job

Best to practice donuts round an imaginary lampost before trying the real thing.
Bet his pride hurt as much as the car! ::)
