Nissan are also stealers
« on: 18 November 2008, 17:06:20 »

I was working on a 98 Primera recently and the owner said the gearchange felt loose and had a rattle when the gearshift was moved
After a bit of investigation I found a spring with one end snapped off hanging from the gear linkage,so I took it off and said I would try and source another.Havent managed to find one quite the same so went to local Nissan dealer. The spring is about 2" long and I expected to pay something silly (probably 2 or 3 quid).
The price was.............9pounds and 5 pence,for a 2 inch long spring ffs,he didnt even look embarrased. >:(
