The question has to be, why go for an inferior solution.

But if this sytem had been considered suitable for the Omega, as it was for the Senator, then it would have been 'designed in'. ::) ::) ::)

To install this system respectively must alter the cooling dynamics and surely will cause a problem? :-? :-?

What you have to consie is that the oil/water heat exchanger does some very clever things.

1) It heats the engine up quicker as the oil (which generaly heats up quicker than the water) warms the water up.

2) Then once the engine is upto temp, the stat is controling the water temp to within +/- 5 degrees....this keeps teh oil at a very constant temp, never to hot and never to cold!

Far superior to an oil/air cooler where the oil can be over cooled and the engine heatup is slowed down
