miggy heaven
« on: 02 December 2008, 23:21:54 »

today miggy heaven recieved a good old girl that i have known for over 12 years.
my 1994tractor has been sat engineless on my drive and gathering more and more rot for a couple or more months, and it hurt too much to see it like this. so i sent it to miggy heaven. it was only a gls spec with steel wheels and it was rust and rot what forced it to be parked up but it was so reliable mechanically that after over 350000miles its engine still lives on in another miggy.
i already miss the old wreck. should i have welded it all up and replaced every dented panel then had it painted?

You get attached to the bloody things for some strange reason :-/ They're only plastic & metal, but some owners strike up a relationship with their cars & i tend to be one of them ;D
Twelve years is a long time to own a car & over a period of time you get to know all its rattles & noises.
Are you keeping up with Omega ownership? If i recall right, when you phoned me the other day you said you were looking for another.
If you need any help looking or a lift to view a Mig, let me know :y

should have had it crushed and placed in your front garden on a plinth.
with a plaque and the verse coulda read

here is my old mig
altho its not as big
its nice n square
but i know its still there
i loved this car so much
never even had to replace the clutch
had it for years and years
today i toast it with a few beers
tomorrow i'll wipe away the tears
this traction was so good
it never got stuck in the mud
I will miss you old friend
especially when driving round the bend
never will i have a car thats greater.
now pass me that AUTO TRADER

Dearest Omega i was once eager
To cater for your every need,
but now it seems that all our dreams
cost me more coin than you give speed.

Your engine's tired, your tax expired,
You've oiled up all my fleeces
I guess it's time to let you go,

    God bless & rust in pieces..... :'( :'( :'( ::)
