Which is best, DS lite or PSP? Just for short gaming blasts in the truck, no need for long RPG back up/save type games.

DS - small screens - but clever games, Brain Training, Mario Carts

PSP - bigger screen - watch films as well - PS2 style games

Only one real answer I am afraid

Both!

PSP more capable, but games tend to be a bit 'have to spend hours on them' similar to its bigger brothers - ps2 etc.

DS, similar to Wii, is more 'spend 20 mins at a time having a laugh' type games.

So depends what you're in to.

Good call - especially if you get an emulator running on it.  The world is your oyster then - PC games, or a blast back to the good ol' days of the Amiga, BBC Micro, or even the arcades  :y
