Mate, i came off after stopping, Honda 400 superdream, no protective gear, stopped @ Broadwater lights on A24 southbound, selected neutral, went to put left foot down but bootlace caught on gear lever.
   You can imagine the impending sense of doom followed by embarresment as the bike had to be lifted off me. I was only 18 & it was'nt a big bike!!!!

Been there guy.... you stop at the lights and forget to put ya boot down next thing you know you`ve got a car driver pissing himself of laughter as a little old lady tries to help you lift your bike up outa the gutter right in the centre of birminghams old rag market by st martins church....i felt a right idiot that day

O' dear bad luck tunnie ..
Must be much tougher now getting m/cycle license back in the olden days ahaha  I turned up for my test one miserable november afternoon  had broken kick start day before told the examiner i needed to jump start it ...was like a TT rider (well almost) rundown street jumped on it side saddle then whipped right leg over seat ding ding ding  an old beaten up Royal Enfield 125cc that was F**t
