A fire engine was caught out in the same place a few weeks ago not a pretty sight. Manchester council tried to sue the fire brigade for the damage

Anyone notice how hitting the bollards mysteriously turns the windscreen wipers on on some vehicles  ::)

You wouldn't have thought it'd be rocket science to design bollards that detect when the vehicle has gone - or that realise they are trying to lift a fire engine and retract.  ::)

I guess this is the next tactic to get people out of cars since they got told to shove the congestion charge.

Isn't that the drivers not wearing seatbelts bouncing off the dash and wiper stalks :o
