How are you connecting your router....to the modem or replacing the modem

What service is it (Cable, ADSL)

What service provider?

Have you entered your username and password into the setup of the "new" router?

You may need to enable the wireless on the router. You will need to go into the setup, frequently ip 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 then find the wireless setup screen.

I guess the wireless connection on the computer is switched on??
