Ps I've just change the 1.4 Meriva for a 1.6 - why are the breathers so hard to find?

Dont look for them. Just leave the rather thing alone. Fix it when it breaks.

All I've had to do with mine is put petrol in for nearly a year now. Levels are all fine, anti freeze is nice and red, oil is nice and golden, and mines done 73000 miles.

JUST STOP PLAYING WITH IT!

if it anit broke dont fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

although some things should be looked at at regular intervals to prevent failure :y
