Actually soap and hot water are fairly good for cleaning keyboards. A good dose of Squeezy works wonders. :y   Provided you dry it out quickly afterwards. I put the item on top of a radiator, which doesn't give time for corrosion to happen. No, don't laugh, its true. I once bought a duff laptop that was an insurance job, bottle of Pepsi in it. I stripped the whole thing down, washed it in the sink with soap and water, put it back together and it worked!. Mind you I have seen several where the soft drink has corroded the legs off the IC's. The sea's fairly corrosive as well, not really safe to swim in ;D ;D ;D

I've taken your advice and covered my keyboard with Squeezy, but now all the keys make a squelchy noise so I'm off to soak it in the bath with a tub of Mrs Matey  ;)
