3 button keys
« on: 15 February 2009, 23:48:25 »

may have been done before?
Just been messing with my key fob ,fed up of digging nail into it to make it work (rubber gone soft) Open'd unit up and using cycle  inner tube repair patches made some squares and glued them on the inside renforcing the area seems to have stiffened the presure pads up no ,more finger nail digging .

Tips
drink plenty of rum whilst doing this steadys the hand.

You need to change the switches - these seem to be the root cause, as they go intermittent, so you press harder, which knackers the rubber.
