I prefer Aldi - their toys tools are pretty usefull

Don't talk about Aldi. I went a bit over budget on their air tools on Sunday. ::)

Still, I have a garage full of toys to play with now. :D

Kevin

Did you get the compressor too Kev?

No. Already had one of those. I got (from  memory) a spot blaster, nailer / stapler, impact wrench, ratchet, cutoff tool, nibbler & filter/regulator/oiler. All appear to work Ok and cost was about £100 including some food shopping. :y

Oh, and if the Havant store was anything to go by, they were piled high and not shifting very fast.

I've got one of these...  http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/tiger/path/airmaster-2

It was only just over £80 when I bought it. If I were buying again I'd be tempted by the ALDI one, as it looked quite reasonable and Machine mart have put the prices up.

As with all cheap direct drive compressors it makes a fair din and will run out of puff given continuous use of thirsty tools, but for what I use it for it's fine.

True, of course, but there'd be precious little garage left for anything else.

Then again, I could always mount it in the roof space. :y Might get a bit noisy though.
