3 Amps

Sony surround unit - STRDB 1080 - Very heavily modifed internally to enhance the pwoer supply area and ffedback twaeked to give a more linearised response.

Sony surround unit - TA AV570 - Again, heavliy modifed

Home built -  2 x 50W RMS unit basd around a design from Maplins but again modified, quad supply setups, 1 for each power amp and one for each preamp.

Sub - Home built. large tuned and ported (as the best always are) 4 speaker setup which eploys electronic equalisation to rpoduce a flat frequency response down to 20Hz......coupled to a 130w RMS masfet unit.

Cd player - Sony fixed pickup unit (cant remember which!)

Mini disc - Cant remember which but uses one of teh best DA's on the market and hence is also emplyed as a DA for the Cd player using the TosLink setup.

Speaker - Misson fronts (again, cant remember the model), JBL centre and small monitors for the rears.

Pre DV575 I used the last PC build via 5.1 line in to the amp with DVD Audio - fantastic!

I didn't bother using the SB Audigy with the rebuild

That stuffs the cellar studio I posted beofre - in the front room I have a pretty poor set up (audio wise anyhow!). I've an an Eltax 5.1 processor/DVD combo (cost me 30 quid new, not bad for the money though!) with some cheap ass Wharfdale Modus speakers connected. But I do have a Phillips 42in Ambilight plasma and Mathmos Faze2 remote/sonic controlled lamp so its moody lighting all the way!!

Like wow man.. 8-)
