2.5k for your MV6? Impressive!
One thing which is a big plus with big Vauxhall's = RWD!
It was less than that, I can't remember how much exactly as it was over a year ago now (around 2k, possibly slightly less), but yeah I think it was a very good price considering it ticked all the boxes I was looking for -- 3.0 manual retail version MV6 with a proper SGI dual-fuel conversion. The car was damn near immaculate when I bought it, minor exceptions being the broken glovebox handle (fixed myself for free), some minor rust on the bottom of the doors and tatty wheels, both of which are common on Omegas and I will sort eventually. Considering the dual-fuel installation was £1800 and it just had £8-900 worth of servicing and repairs done in the year prior to me buying it, I think I got a good deal

.
When you consider a car like this costs around 15p/mile in petrol at 27 MPG and having a dual-fuel car roughly halves that if you run on propane all the time, it can potentially save you £2000 -- the cost of the car disregarding servicing/repairs --in under 27,000 miles. Makes it easy to understand why I have the Omega as a second car even though it's not exactly economical per-se
