Lizzie, If I win the Euro lottery this week I will order you a crated LS7 engine and box maybe the forum can get together for a show horning weekend to help you fit it.

At the same time I was wondering if it wouuld be possible to buy that 2.0 Mig limo on ebay and refit some veyron running gear in it, there should be enough space once the rear seats come out, other wise I think a 1000bhp Elite Estate would teach em a lesson from the lights down at the pod.

Trans am? Firebird? ::) ::) ::) ::)

I wish. 1st one I tried to buy was a 400 Trans Am, the guy game me the keys and let me play with it.  Was sluggish on take off so I said no.  He then expalained it had a fault with the gear leveer thar for some obsure reason it allways set off it 2nd gear unless you knew how to sort it.

He took me out for a test run.  72mph in 1st and off the clock in 2nd, laid rubber at any speed, he wouldnt drop the price so I declined.

I then went on and owned these 2 cars

The camaro used to run at the pod with a 402 in it, but I bought it with a sluggish 350 in it.  actually thinking back I think a lot of the problems were t he exhaust.

The Pontiac Parisienne which I called the brick was the ugliest and most unassuming car you would ever expect to get beaten by from the lights.

Had a Chevy 350 in it, but ponty running gear, ate wheels (damaged the centres on 3 wheels and had to replace them, often had to reseal the tyres as they spun on the rims), along with gearboxes.  Same MPH through the gears as the Trans Am I went in, if it got traction from standstill, and I do mean if, it easliy saw 911Turbo's off to 60 and 100 mph.  Did 24 on a run. seated 7 with ease and had a massive boot.

I really do miss that car.  am of to autotrader now. ::)

Hehe, look at those rear arches on the brick, and it had monroe air shocks on it as well.  Could fit nearly anything under there in the 80's
