Fuel shooting up again.....
« on: 01 April 2009, 18:28:28 »

as my local Sainsbury's put the price of unleaded up from 89.9p to 90.9p two days ago, then last night with the fuel tax increase it went to 92.9p! >:( >:(

With the weakness of the pound vs. the dollar how long before it is at least £1 per litre again? ::) ::) ::)

With the oil prices quite low, the cost of fuel should be considerably lower. What will happen when the economy recovers? The cost of fuel will end around the £1.20 litre mark again.

Perhaps the government would be willing to help impoverished "Miggy Owners" Lizzie.A £400 winter fuel (petrol ) allowance would be nice.

Actually I've just realised that I have misled you all. It is QR0.80 per litre. That about 19 pence per litre. So that around 86p a gallon.

I think that should firmly snuff out any attempt to gain new friends.  ;D
