IIRC, a genuine set of front discs and pads on trade club are around £80.
Are you sure about 40mm lower springs?  Probably will detract from ride comfort although will look cool. ;)

Hi.

£80 for discs and pads doesn't sound so bad, but I'm assuming there is postage on top of that, and the weight would probably bring it up to the quote I've been given ?!.

I wanted to upgrade, as I want as good as brakes as I can, and as Omega's seem to be know to warp , I thought by going cross drilled as well as vented may help take the heat off them, and be less likely to warp so quick.
Mind you as heavy as the car is, its no surprising how much it takes to stop them !  :o .

As for the -40mm spring, I like a more sporty ride, and have uprated the suspension on every car I've had. And to be honest, although it is comfy in its ride, its a little too soft for me, more so than I first thought. Plus I'd like something that feels more sure footed.
I knew when I bought it, it would be softer being a top executive spec car, but it wallows just too much for me !  :-?.

Thanks for letting me know of the info though.
