No joke, I've spent ALL DAY trying to build a simple linux server via iLO2.  The older iLO must have been a million times quicker...

progress, apparently.

Chiltern Slugs? Forget it, lucky to get a bog.

Can't complain, power plugs at every seat and had aircon.

We had a customer with a Netware 6.0 SP5 server go down, the hard ware company have no idea why it locks up and we don't have enough rights to even suggest cures.

Took 3 hours to repair the data today >:(

I wonder why all the servers we looked after always worked reliably?

Most of ours are pretty reliable, some crappy applications (and associated teams) are the bulk of our problems, along with disk failures, which are pretty constant (inevitable across the estate of 1200 odd servers that our small team supports).

We have recently had some interesting hardware faults, but sadly aren't supposed to get that involved in hardware issues.

Got an interesting problem thats got me baffled currently - one that should be simple thing, but buggered if I can see it. Solaris 8, anonymous ftp works, but won't give a directory listing...
