You get 24hrs now....if you take vehicle away from mot station....or 10 days if you let them fix the faults....but i guess theres a certain amount of leeway in this depending how strict the mot station is....i just hope the one i took my merc to is leanient.....coz i still havent got a new windscreen yet....will have try somewhere else i guess.....i went to RAC autowindscreens....they told me that they would call me as soon as they had a screen in.....but their entire computer network was down....so they didnt know when that would be...and i havent had a call yet
