Ah.... The Lexus 4.0 V8 engine.... Now it's all making sense to me.

Came across a site that I think is Norwegian or Swedish, some Icelandic country like that.

Couldn't understand the language, but the photos told the whole story, they used a what I think was a mini face lift Saloon, it was manual geared. And they used a Lexus V8, but not only that, looks like they rebuilt the engine with steel conrod & pistons, plus they Turbocharged the motor as well.... talk about being greedy with wanting power !!   .

put a mild rear boot spoiler, and lowered it, and put set of wheels on it, which I think looked too good, it looked nice, but wouldn't get too much attention, looked classy at the same time as being different.

Anyone else seen the site ?.

Erm.... Lexus V8.. that's given me an idea !

Always thought Northstar was a steam locomotive!

Yes Pitchfork, it was GWR Churchward's  4-4-2, No. 40 built (May, 1906) as an experimental prototype, which was named North Star after five months.  

It was then rebuilt (November 1909) as a 4-6-0, No. 4000, with the same North Star name as part of the "Star" class of 73 engines, but only the first 11 (including North Star) had names ending 'star', i.e.  Evening Star, Lode Star, Dog Star, Polar Star, Royal Star, etc.   The rest where named as Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses, or Abbeys.

After all that I don't believe steam engines and cars quite go together!!
