  hi all how bad can this year get ??
1= brother inlaw died at  easter
 2= job might be on the line due to closing site
 
and 3 = missis wants a divorce now    and we have 3 kids as well !!!!

Bad luck Mick. I wish I had words of comfort but when it goes sour it goes sour. Try and make the divorce, if it's inevitable, as pleasant as possible. I've been through two, and trying to outdo each other only makes it more acrimonious.
As for the job, you are not alone. Just very bad timing by the sound of things.

Keep your chin up and remember... You can vent your anger on here... Someone will normally be about to take piss a bit and cheer you up

 i have been down every avenue to re-solve this but the wife says theres nothing to talk about !!

 just wondering about the house as she wants to leave, walk away
and i need a house to live in

just need some advice with a solicitor on the law side for where i stand ??

That bit doesn't happen quickly. Dont know how old your kids are, but if they're under 18 then the house should be there for them until they reach that age.

That bit doesn't happen quickly. Dont know how old your kids are, but if they're under 18 then the house should be there for them until they reach that age.

  my kids are 9,12 and 15
    tthe prob is i need a house to have them when off work , otherwise no way of having them over night !!!!
 ooh and 2 german shepards that are mine !!!!

As mentioned .. try to keep things as amicable as possible. And, don't do ANYTHING without giving it a lot of thought.

Horrible as it is, at the end of the day, you both need to make sure the kids get through it as smoothly as possible  ( I am sure you don't need to be told that ).

The first one is really sad . And there's nothing you can do about it..


You can find another job..may be not vey quickly but you have the chance..

The 3rd one..

I have similiar experiences in the past..

if she really wants divorce you have to do it (even if you dont want) ..Because she cant make you happy..And its much better to solve this sooner than late..

3 children is not easy but I think you can deal with that..

And I believe you can find someone who you can love again and be more happy together..

Only you need some time to see things in a different way..

Very sorry to hear about this surge of bad luck mate.

I hope it gets better soon though.

1. For losing someone, I do know what it mean - i lost my father about 4 months ago. My friends made me understand something: death is a part of life and we have to accept it. that's what i try to do always even if it's hard.

2. I really do not know about divorce dude, but the best i can think of is that if the wife wanna go, let her go, otherwise, she'll make your life harder and more miserable. The only thing to keep in mind is that the kids MUST NOT suffer through this

3. I do not know what the situation is like in the UK for the job sector. but maybe, if you no longer have a job, you could find something temporary, just to keep the kitchen running? Remember something: No one should be ashamed of ANY job if he is working HONESTLY

Sorry to hear the bad news

It happened to me about 14 years ago but i'm happy to say I have been happily married (yes I know I moan about her on here but I love her to bits)for 6 years and we've been together for 11 years so there is life after divorce.

hi mate sorry to hear about your probs       my life went to shit last year in june .my dad got killed on his mountain bike  that was a knife in the guts . then i lost my job just after xmas . then had my house repossesd  i had 2 weeks in hospital with pneumonia i thought i was dying . but things are starting to get better now . there is a light at the end of the tunnel mate i hope things work out for you mate
