Sorry to hear that. At least she never suffered & passed away knowing she was loved.

Jeez so sudden, you should be able to take consolation in the fact that she added so much joy to your lives and you to hers. I hope you have plenty of photos and remember her fondly.

we had a really sad day today  :'(

After only 3 months with us she died today in the back garden, we reckon she had either a heart attack or a stroke.....

she was just laying in the sun when it happened, it appeared to be quick which is a consolation....

We are all a little upset, my daughter is taking it very badly as she become very attached to her

Oh my goodness!...... :o
I`m so sorry to read of your loss Jay; especially as you had just three months of joy and love shared with such a lovely bitch.
I once read that "Once a Border Collie has touched your heart; things can never the quite the same"......I hope you and your family may remember the wonderful times shared and not just the sadness of her sudden loss.
You have my sincere sympathy.

When God made the earth and sky,
The flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals
And all the birds and bees.
And when His work was finished,
Not one was quite the same,
He said, "I'll walk this earth of mine
And give each one a name."
And so He traveled land and sea,
And everywhere He went,
A little creature followed Him,
Until its strength was spent.
When all were named upon the earth,
And in the sky and sea,
The little creature said, "Dear Lord,
There is not one left for me."
The Father smiled and softly said,
"I've left you to the end,
I've turned my own name back to front,
And call you DOG, my friend."

Bloody hell mate, you didn't have her long. She had a good home at the end & she wouldv'e appreciated that.
I hope your daughter gets over it soon, kids are better at coping than you think
