if its the freestanding unit its sides off hob top unscrews from the sides, unplug top then pull away. you should be able to get to the bulb thro the back end of the dials under plate. if not a freestanding unit let me know...
Its freestanding one.

So firstly remove sides, presumably to get to bolts for hob bit?

just screws hold sides on and hob on- check what screws you need to undo on the hob top as some start to loosen the halogen element supports i think the middle ones you leave in but you should see. oh & isolate the supply !!!!
im fairly sure thats the best way to get into that model.

the starter is a standard 45w/65w i think and when you remove the bulb you should be able to get a match at a diy or dom apps shop.

just dug out some more info-just as i thought its a site us dom app engineers use-Excellent instructions that enabled me to change the light without any problems. I would only add two things:
1. You can buy a replacement lamp from Creda online for around £15 but you'll find it only costs around £3.50 at your local B&Q. Look for a 13W/35 flourescent tube.
2. While I was at it I thought it would be a good idea to replace the starter (also from B&Q). I discovered that it was located as far away from the lamp as possible!! You need to remove the back - two screws holding the cover plate over the connections at the bottom right (looking at the rear of the cooker); the top two screws only on the piece sticking out of the back at the top centre and the four screws - two each side of the back plate. The starter is located at the bottom left and can easily be unplugged - bayonet type plug.

This requires some work. It's not as simple as you might think it would be. You have to remove both side panels from the cooker. These should be held by 3 small screws at the front(behind the oven doors) and another 3 at the rear. Then, the panels slide back approx 1 inch. From this position, they simply pull off. Once these are off, you need to remove the screws holding on the hob. There should be 2 at the rear, just below the spacer. These screw vertically. A further 2 screws hold the hob in place. These are located near to the front on both sides, only now exposed with the side panels removed. Remove these, then simply lift the hob up. Do not remove it completely, simply move it back a little and let it balance. You will now see a metal plate with 2 groups of wires going into it. It is held on with 4 screws, 2 on either side. Remove these and the bulb is attached to the rear of this metal plate. The bulb is a F13W/35 fluorescent. Hope this helps and isn't too confusing

take it steady and you should be ok.
