Seriouslty though you were very lucky not to be badly injured or worse!

i have the upmost respect for females but when i was on the floor with my foot caught in that stirrup and looked up and saw my horses hind kicking i thought shit and covered my face up you just panic wont be going on a horse again

Its not the getting on that hurts, its the falling off

I went out with a horsey girl many years ago, she was lovely (strong thighs) & the horse!!!...but at a show jumping event she attended one sunday i watched then ran from the mayhem when one horse threw a wobbly & bolted. Every other horse there decided to follow suit with or without rider. 3 or 4 spectators were hospitalised, one badly...no face left.
  Magnificent as these creatures are they're powerful highly strung beasts with a brain the size of a golfball. The equation between power & temperament is one best avoided.
