2.5 TD against 2.2 TDi
« on: 20 May 2009, 17:44:28 »

Typically what sort of economy do these engines achieve on average and at steady motorway speeds?

I really want an auto, but since a possible change in living arrangements is on the cards and more miles needing to be munched, a manual would be acceptable considering it will be 90% motorway.

Any answers from tractor owners? 8-) :y

When i went to this months OOF meet, i had all M,way driving in the dreaded road works 50mph there & back. She returned 48mpg av. At 70ish she'll give a good 42-44mpg av. Urban, she gives 35-38mpg av. Mines a 2.2DTi.
