Notice when posting we have much larger text, could the posts not be of a similar size, makes reading much better......... :)

Under the actual box you type in, over on right is a 'Text Size: 11pt' and  - + buttons. This adjust the size of the text in that box. Note, this is unrelated to text size of your post when posted

Its a compromise - much bigger and it would result in excessive scrolling on longer threads. Would also make it harder for mobile users...
