Thank you for choosing to sell on eBay.

To help protect both buyers and sellers, we may place limits on sellers' accounts. For example, we may restrict how many times a seller can list or revise certain items within a 30-day period.

You've reached the limit for the type of item you're trying to list, so you can't list or revise any more of these for 30 days. However, you may still list other kinds of items. These restrictions apply to all sellers, so please don't feel that we're singling you out.

If your history of selling these items has been consistently positive, we might be able to raise your limit. If you believe that you would qualify, please review our selling limits page for more information.

If you check, that is in their T&Cs...

Thats their rules (to protect their business plan), you have to comply if you wish to use their service.  End of, really.

Am I the only one not to have trouble with egay/paypal? Is it because I obey the rules, or because I stick away from dead cert scam items (laptops/phones/etc)?

They did limit (but not freeze - I could still receive) my paypal due to the amount of activity on it...

No, I have bought and sold on ebay, here and there for a few years with no problems, even had an item returned by a buyer because I sent the wrong one, with no problem. ebay have just contacted me to say that I do not seem to have used them for a while, must get the loft cleared...... :D :D

I used to run a business called The eBayMan whereby I would sell businesses (normally manufacturers or wholesalers) items on eBay and take a commission on everything I sold. Worked well for 18 months and became my full time job.

At one time I was a PowerSeller for 11 different accounts!

Business was doing very well but changes to eBay policies and the blatent favouritism towards buyers by putting more restrictions on sellers meant that it just became too complicated to operate - sellers (my customers) were just scared away.

i also detest ebay, its full of w****ers, time wasters, and people who should be hung up to die.

soooo many times i have stuff bid on then people dont turn up, or make false feedback, then try and get £50 out of you to revert the feedback.

i have a solution, and saves on their charges also.

its classified adds.

cost £13 to advertise the car

no fee for selling (final value)

no idiots not turning up, cos they have to call you and come view the car themselves

no false feedback

no time wasters.

try it with the fobs it might stop you going as grey as i am lately!!!

Seems that there is a watch called Omega and lots of fakes got sold. I suggested their filter gets changed to check for the usage of Vauxhall or Opel ;D
