Plumbing question

Now I've sorted the xbox....does anyone know why the overflow pipe gushes out clear hot water when the washing machine is running?
Probs started when new machine was plumbed in - so i guess its been hooked up wrong (not by me - i tend to leave stuff i know nothing about well alone  :y)

Who fitted it?? Comet by any chance??? if it was call the call centre and get em to send a hdp crew out to re do the installation....

Whoever installed it needs to check the plumming, also it sounds as though either the solenoid on the water feed is faulty or the programmer is telling it to open when it should be closed......

cheers - i'll have the solenoid checked and replaced - that sounds likely - it was an ex-demo from mfi that's never been used - but has probably been knocked around a bit! (buy cheap, buy twice!!) :y :y
