we have to watch for the postie as our dog snatches it and even sometimes tries to eat the letter box flap, our postie knows and is careful, but the dogs are in the kitchen when we are out so its not a problem then, but i was in the back this afternoon when i heard the letterbox and a shriek, i thought it was the kids buggering about tbh and thought nothin of it, about 2 mins later i came thru and found one of those bacgs the charities use for old clothes on the floor in shreds, i put 2 n 2 together n thought he must have got someones fingers, ouch :-/ :-/, he is half staffie n half what ever, is a softie really!, i looked out of the window and saw an older couple delivering leaflets but the woman seamed to be cradleing her hand, they delivered a couple more leaflets before they left and this was before i could get to them to ask, i think he did get her hand, any one any ideas where i stand, i dont have beware of the dog sign as i know that means i am accepting the fact my dog might bite, i believe all dogs may bite. but i didnt have a sign saying no junk mail (have now tho), any thoughts, i can predict when the postie is there but not when some fool shuvs fingers thru the letter box
