cat c write off
« on: 06 August 2009, 11:14:18 »

the engineer has had a look at the car and has classed it as a cat c write off because of the bulge in the boot floor  :(
he has estimated the value as £350 with a buy back option of £50
do i buy it back and repair it or should i say sod and buy something else?
had this one 5 years so it is part of the family so to speak
do i accept his figure as fact of what the car is worth

Buy it back and use it as a doner car for your next one mate or see if you can repair it.

Sending them a couple of Roger Budden adverts to support your claim might help. :y

Worst case, buy back for £50 and break.  Should make a few quid that way for recompense.
