Just got a hand written invitation for the missus to attend a 'ladies evening' at evans halshaw. They are invited to gain a basic working knowledge of what goes on under the bonnet, followed by a tour of the extensive workshop facilities.
No mention of them coming home with 'a much better car' than they arrived with.

Ah the letter was in error; the result of a mis-hearing on the `phone....

"Ladies Evening" should have been "Lay Deceiving"......a time for the dealer to pull the wool over non-expert customer`s eyes!
