I have thought long and hard to think of something to say to the last persons post , but all i can come up with to say how sorry i am for you , i am 50 and as you will know yourself, 10 years pass so quickly the older you get, its a fact of life, just for a dafty, what do they say you have to train for. :( :(

Sorry to raise this older post again but for those people who are interested i have had my opp and just before i got my stitches out i have received the results of my appeal, they have decided that they were right and i have to go back to con creating,they have declared me fit for work and have stopped my sick pay,even though i still have the stitches in my arm, like i say I'm not bitching ,just letting the people know the results of my appeal,as there was quite a few people responded to this post ,i would just like to say thanks for all the support that i have received from this site ,it shows me that there is some decent people out there

Thanks for the update JK, hope the procedure went well and you're back to full mobility. :y :y

I would tend to seek advice about the result of your appeal as it sounds that the physical effort involved in you employment may undo any work that has been done in the surgical repair.

Have you sought any more advice on a compensation claim for your injury at work?

yes there is a solicitor on the case as we speak,opp went well should be fit for work in a few weeks ,thanks --Karl
