No surprise to me either. The UK government maintained it was the scottish government that decided to release him and they had no involvement. I don't believe that for a second >:(

We might as well just say come here, commit crime, tell us a sob story and we will let you go. This government is pathetic!

What to you mean they 'might as well' chap, they are doing now, that's why this country is such a mess, because the government haven't got the balls to do anything about it, and getting involved in other peoples war's isn't help us, as it 'us' the public that are paying the price, as usual.

If the government wouldn't (and still won't) do anything regarding how the banks have got us in a total mess, dealing with something more serious is beyond there scope !.

Scares me to think how this country will be in 15Yrs time, I'll be an OAP then, and who know's what it'll be like then ?!.  >:( :o :-? :-/

Any thoughts on how and why the crash site and surrounding area was crawling with CIA agents within a couple of hours ?  ::)

Because Turk this bombing always was, and still is, about far more than one simple individual from Libya.  It involves the politics of Iran, Libya, the USA and Britain, with the 'agencies' of the last two heavily involved post attack.  It also involved the earlier downing of the Iranian airliner with 270 people by the US Navy in July 1988. ::) ::) ::)

The point I'm trying to make is that the man people are making a fuss over as "Lockerbie Bomber" is yet another scapegoat.
