I drive as little as possible & i know why, because i'm sick of all the crap that goes with it.
I wanted some parts for a little project that i'm on with & so i had what i thought was going to be a leisurely drive up to Chesterfield. I have witnessed the biggest c o c k up of a road that i have ever seen.

They balls'ed up the A61 long ago with cross hatching lines & now they've added some more, the only stretch all the way to Chesterfield were it was possible to over take which was a dual carrageway is now a single road with even more cross hatchings. FFS
I rang the Highways Dept of Amber Valley & it just so happens that the guy i need to speak to is out
So i've asked to be called back him personally.
I'm looking forward to asking what he has inside his head- sh!t, 'dangle berries' or just a vaccum. What an arse

He's not gonna call you back, and I'll tell you why....there is no incentive whatsoever for him to make his job any harder.

What you need to do to ensure the call is logged and responded to is tell them (at the beginning) that you are recording the call for quality & assurance purposes.
Their first reaction will be to tell you that this is illegal, all you do at this point is tell them to take a good look at the Telecommunications Act.

Once that's done and they know you have them over a barrel, you can guarantee that they will log your call, he WILL call you back, and a shed load more gates will all of a sudden open up in front of you
