Pop all the covers of-stick it in  a sealed plastic bag with some silica gel (little bags of crystals you get with electrical equipment) and leave it for a couple of days.  Make sure the crystals are dry first, pop them in a warm oven for a few minutes.

but why has it lasted all week before f***ing me off?  :-/  :-?

I once dropped a Motorola in a pile of snow (wintery type) and then proceeded to run over it.  I dried it off, reassembled the pieces and it worked!
... for two days.  Then it died.  I sent it back for repair, omitting the details above, and got a message back to say "crush damage - not repairable".
Just 'cos the chips look OK doesn't mean they're working OK.

Of course it can be....crystaline growth between sprung contacts which were not fully dry.....this includes IC legs/balls.

And remember, there is more to the transciever than just the antenna
