Popped into local sellerfield on way home, bought reduced chicken breasts & reduced winter veggie pack(new pots, red onion, swede, leek etc) light fry in a big pot, add stock, seasoning, squirt of tom puree & a bayleaf. Simmer for ages.
     Enough chicken stew for two days, all healthy..£1.52p!!

It doen't suprise me that you can make it last a couple of days the chickens that are farmed near the Sellefied nuclear plant have six breasts and five legs and two heads

We've got the same type of chickens here, only ours have flat caps & smoke woodbines, Oh, and glow in the dark 8-)

Wifey has just made an extra hot chillie con carne, its filled my tummie (no easy ) and in an hour or so I will be heating the house for free, not bad if you can put up with the smell
