Whoops
« on: 21 November 2009, 10:43:47 »

A lad at work asked what I thought fo Bose HiFi -  I returned with "Overpriced Crap". ;D ;D

Turns out with wife has bought a Bose music centre to replace a HiFi and he wondered what it was like. :-[ :-[

They had not even plugged it in when they asked me and luckily they have a 30 day return period.

I said do an AB test against the HiFi and then see what to do.

As Mission stuff is quite good I would not be surprised if they sent it back.

I do know one thing - if it was one of their DVD systems the DVE audio tests would show it up for what it is. ;D ;D ;D ;D

some of their stuff is good, i really like their headphones, both in ear and over ear, they completley seal out all sound. Give really good clear, crisp sound. Can't here a darn thing with them on.

HiFi versions seam super expensive for what they are

There small HiFi for PC's sounds good, but its a crap setup, it uses Boses own sound card which is USB only, you can't plug anything else into it (like xBox or TV)

Denon Amps are good, but i would get some different speakers, maybe Yamaha

I use Bose Professional speakers both 802s & 402s with their controllers & they're brilliant!
