They had fan speed controllers but were for a 3 pin fan. Also had resistor leads for 3 pin fans.

They did not have 4 pin to 3 pin leads..So the next step is to build or buy a barebones system thats silent..Dont want to spend much money so if any of you have done the same let me know what you bought..I dont need the fastest as i dont play games just internet.
Dell E520 and 9200 Dimensions are very quiet, based on the BTX chassis design - far superior to ATX type designs thermally...
